Man-made chemicals, from cocaine to DEET to pharmaceuticals, are finding their way into Minnesota lakes in ways that no one understands

Fifty of the ten thousand lakes in Minnesota were put in a study to test the waters for chemicals. Only three of the fifty were found to be chemical-free. Some of the chemicals found in these lakes include cocaine, DEET, and pharmaceuticals. That is absolutely gross and makes me wonder what is in the rest of the lakes. Ish.
